Pulmonary Center of Excellence

Chronic lung diseases are common and deadly. Unfortunately, the treatment options for patients with advanced forms of lung disease are few due to the lack of research and knowledge regarding the basic cellular and molecular mechanisms that lead to disease progression.

在UTHealth we have outstanding physicians who provide patients with lung disease the best care possible. In addition, we have world leading scientists who are conducting discovery and translational research to increase our knowledge of lung disease with the goal of identifying novel therapies for its treatment.
