When my first child was born, however, my experience was nothing like what I had envisioned. Dealing with a tongue tie, painful nursing, and low supply, my breastfeeding journey involved more tears and more pumping than I ever expected!

Thanks to an amazing team, we eventually got things back I track and I was finally able to enjoy breastfeeding. I knew I wanted to be able to help other moms with their breastfeeding goals. Four years later, I’ve nursed 3 babies with tongue tie and am now an IBCLC. I’m thrilled to be able to help moms and babies at the Lactation Foundation.”
