Below are the minimum requirements to be considered for admission into Cizik School of Nursing's Pacesetter BSN program. The requirements listed are the最低允许, however the profile of the average admitted student can be much higher. As an example, the average nursing prerequisite GPA for a Pacesetter BSN applicant is 3.5. This information is not provided to deter a student with a lower GPA from applying, however having a GPA closer to the average increases the chance of submitting a competitive application for review. Students who are denied admission are allowed to reapply without penalty (a new application and fee must be submitted).

Minimum Admissions Requirements

Required Application Materials:

Cizik School of Nursing’s Baccalaureate Council is charged with determining all admission decisions. Applicants will be evaluated on overall academic, prerequisite and science course performance in addition to the results from the HESI A2 Entrance Exam. All decisions are final and cannot be appealed. Notification of decisions (admit, waitlist, or denial) are updated first in applyUTH and then also delivered by email and postal mail. Notifications are expected to be delivered on or around the following dates:

Acceptance to Cizik School of Nursing is contingent upon successful completion of outstanding prerequisites (if any), immunization screening, immigration status clearance, Health Care Provider Basic Life Support CPR certification, clearance of the mandatory drug screening test and mandatory criminal background check.
