RN-FNP FAQ

Q: Can I apply if I have less than the one year of experience at the time of application?

A: Yes, the one-year requirement has to be met by the time the program starts. If you will have less than twelve months' experience at the start of the program, please discuss this with the faculty during your admissions interview.

Q: How much on-campus time is required for the RN-FNP Bridge Program?

A: The RN-BSN and FNP courses are online. The FNP program has limited on-campus time for labs and simulation in select semesters. On-campus requirements will be communicated well in advance in order for you to make adjustments to your work schedule.

Q: Is a part-time enrollment option offered?

A: No, this unique program is only designed for full-time enrollment.

Q: If I find the program too demanding, can I withdraw at the point I've earned my BSN?

A: The RN-FNP program is fully integrated and does not allow for a BSN exit. If a student requests to withdraw from the program before completion they must consult with the RN-BSN faculty regarding admission to that program.
