Students will apply the fundamental principles of human-computer interaction and human factors to real world problems through class projects, and will develop formal documentations of user-centered design process for interface design. The focus is executing a design project to develop user-friendly interfaces, and interfaces that are compliant with industry and government standards (e.g., FDA, CMS, NIST) for healthcare.
