Cost of Attendance
The Cost of Attendance (COA) is theESTIMATEDcost of a student’s educational and living expenses for the period of enrollment. It includes tuition, fees, room and board, books/supplies, transportation, loan fees and personal/miscellaneous expenses. The COA is used to determine a student’s financial aid eligibility and award package. Federal, state, institutional and other resources cannot exceed the cost of attendance.

Tuition and Fees:the average cost of tuition and fees for a student in the program; the actual cost will vary depending on the amount of hours the student is enrolled in. Adjustments to Cost of Attendance
Students sometimes incur unexpected expenses that are not included in the Cost of Attendance. Adjustments to the COA for certain expenses (please refer to the Revision Request Form) can increase the cost of attendance allowing students to obtain additional financial aid. The most common expense is the computer purchase, a one-time budget increase. Adjustments will be considered on a case by case basis and will require documentation to justify the revision.

The Office of Student Financial Services conducts a biennial student cost of living survey to determine the most recent and accurate living costs. Enrolled students are encouraged to participate in this survey when it becomes available.
