Dr. Katherine Pazmiño received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University, then graduated from the first dental school in the world, the University of Maryland Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. Recognizing that children have unique needs and require special care, she pursued a post-doctoral pediatric residency program at UTHealth in Houston where she was honored to receive the Peabody Award granted to the top resident in the program. Dr. Pazmiño earned her Masters of Science in Dentistry for her research exploring access to dental care for patients with congenital bleeding disorders. She earned her Masters of Business Administration from Duke University, focusing her studies on Health Sector Management. Dr. Pazmiño continues to share her skills and time as Clinical Assistant Professor with the pediatric dental residents at Houston Medical Center.
