Career and IDP Advising
Dr. Raquel Ybañez Salinas, Assistant Director of Career Development, is the primary contact for students seeking advice related to their career development or individual development plan (IDP). She provides individualized sessions for career exploration, resume/CV, internship or job search, interview preparation, and IDP advising. Academic Deans
The GSBS Academic Deans are available to counsel all students. Students can meet with the deans for general academic advice or for counseling on issues related to research, interactions with the advisor or lab-mates, or performance in courses. First-year students are welcome to come in to discuss the general degree requirements and expectations, past coursework and to discuss questions related to integrating into the research and academic environment.
The deans can address your questions or concerns via email or in person. Appointments are not necessary, but are encouraged.
