Biography

Patricia Lenihan, MD, prides herself on providing compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based care to her patients. She enjoys getting to know her patients and learning about their diverse backgrounds. She has always been described as extremely thorough and hard-working, particularly when it comes to patient care. She is certified to perform robotic surgery on the da Vinci surgical system. She also has won several awards for her achievements in educational leadership, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.

Dr. Lenihan was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, but spent the majority of her childhood in Galveston, Texas. She attended Trinity University in San Antonio where she studied Biochemistry and Spanish. Since college, she has lived in Houston where she attended McGovern Medical School and then continued her residency training at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

She lives in Central Northwest Houston. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family and friends. Her favorites are swimming, running, biking and playing soccer.
