Are you interested in learning more about UTHealth School of Biomedical Informatics? Have you considered applying to the program but aren’t sure what a degree from SBMI will do for your future? Join us for SBMI CONNECT 2019! Prospective students will get the opportunity to interact with SBMI students, alumni and faculty and learn about the SBMI experience.
Attendees will arrive at UTHealth SBMI new building, sign in at the information booth and be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a Starbucks gift card!
Parking is available at the UCT tower, 7000 Fannin St.
After signing in and learning more about SBMI's academic programs, CONNECT attendees will view current students’ semester long projects at the SBMI Spring Poster Session, where they will get familiar with student research conducted at the school and determine if their interests align with those of other students.
After the poster session, CONNECT attendees, along with current SBMI students, will hear from SBMI alumni about their work in the biomedical informatics field, job opportunities and industry trends at the SBMI Alumni Panel.
Following the alumni panel, CONNECT attendees can interact with faculty members as they share their research interests and meet current students and alumni. Refreshments will also be served.
