As a comprehensive health science university, the mission of UTHealth Houston is to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health.

UT Physicians, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, is the clinical practice of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Through more than 80 specialties that include neurosciences, orthopedics, heart and vascular health, and women’s and children’s health, our faculty offer urgent, highly specialized, or complex care to individuals and families in Houston and across Harris County and surrounding areas. Our experts also provide high-quality, wellness-oriented primary care for routine illnesses and maintenance of good health.

Revenue from UT Physicians provides UTHealth Houston with additional resources to support our faculty and further enhance the education of the health care professionals of tomorrow.

UT Dentists People Image

UT Dentists is the multidisciplinary faculty practice of the School of Dentistry. Specialists and faculty dentists treat patients with every type of dental problem to improve oral health, which is essential to overall wellness.

UTHealth Services People Image

UT Health Services is a nationally recognized nurse-managed primary care center through Cizik School of Nursing. Nurse practitioners provide patient care in collaboration with a McGovern Medical School physician.
