Biography

ABIMDr. Preethi Reddy is an Assistant Professor of Medicine. She joined UTHealth faculty as a Hepatologist in December 2016. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry at the University of Houston prior to receiving her medical degree at Ross University in Portsmouth, Dominica. Thereafter, she completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Arizona followed by a fellowship in Transplant Hepatology at Baylor College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include treatment of hepatitis C, complications of advanced liver disease, management of hepatocellular carcinoma and pre-operative evaluation for orthotopic liver transplantation.
