Priscilla Meyers, APRN, MSN, NNP-BC

普里西拉为她赢得了Bachelor’s degree in nursing from The University of Texas Health Science School of Nursing in San Antonio, TX in 2008. She earned her master’s degree as a neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) in 2012 from The University of Texas Medical Branch School of Nursing in Galveston, TX. She maintains her clinical practice in her current role as the Director of Advanced Care Providers for The McGovern Medical School -Department of Pediatrics at UT Health representing over 60 outstanding advanced practice providers across the Pediatric specialty.

At theNational Association of Neonatal NursesConference in 2019, Priscilla was awarded theNNP Rising Star Award. This prestigious award is presented to one nurse practitioner who exemplifies passion for their work and is making a large impact in a short time through exemplary practice, leadership, service, and education. She was part of the 2019-2020 Emerging Leaders Fellowship cohort hosted by NANN and Synova and led an SBAR communication initiative on her unit to help staff understand the importance of effective communication for safe patient care.


NNP Education Coordinator

Jessica is the Education Coordinator for the Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at UTHealth. Besides working in the NICU as an NNP, she also helps with NNP student placement, new employee orientation, and ongoing education needs of the NNPs. She holds a BA in Spanish, BSN, MSN, and is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program at UT Houston. Jessica is also a certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) and is interested in neonatal nutrition and breastfeeding in the NICU.
