Biography

Dr. Jordan Grubbs is a board certified general and bariatric surgeon. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her general surgery training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her advanced GI MIS/Bariatric fellowship at the University of Tennessee. Her clinical focus is on minimally invasive surgical techniques with a focus on bariatric surgery, foregut operations, and hernia repairs. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the Association of Women Surgeons. Dr. Grubbs is passionate about helping resolve obesity and obesity related health conditions through surgical treatment. Outside of the hospital she enjoys running, watching sports, and spending time with her husband and their puppy son.
