2020春季I-Corps生活科学区域计划

The Center for Entrepreneurship Advancement at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is excited to open the application portal for our 2020 Spring I-Corps Life Science Regional Program. The program is open to UTHealth teams, and is open to all life science technologies including diagnostics, digital health, medical devices, therapeutics, and more.

The next application deadline is Sept. 5, 2018, 5:00 p.m. local time. STTR programs are one of the largest sources of early-stage technology financing in the U.S.

STTR计划的目的是基金合作research and development projects involving a small business and a research institution, i.e., nonprofit college or university, federally funded research and development center, or domestic nonprofit research organization. Program support helps bridge the gap between performance of basic science and commercialization of resulting innovations. Applicants can apply for Phase I or Phase II funding.

第一阶段：The objective is to establish the technical merit and feasibility of the proposed research and development efforts and to determine the quality of performance of the small business prior to providing further federal support in Phase II.I期支持通常在六个月内提供150,000美元。但是，有了适当的理由，申请人可能会提出更长的时间和更大的资金金额，以建立拟议项目的技术优点和可行性，一年的总费用增加了225,000美元。
