德州大学健康和合作伙伴nce Center-Houston (UTHealth) Center for Clinical and Translational Science (CCTS) Biobank is automating its biobank operations through the development of a custom online software application named SLED (Sample Location and Enhancement Distribution). The project is a collaborative effort between the CCTS Biobank and the informatics team at the University Of Texas School of Biomedical Informatics.
The purpose of the Consortium for Oral Health Related Informatics (COHRI) is to establish an Oral Health Data Repository that can accept and integrate data from disparate dental data sources, and allow end users to explore and extract information to support their specific research or decision making needs. We are working with UT, UCSF, Harvard, and Tufts to create a joint data warehouse that contains dental data from each institution.
The main objective for a central eMPI is to consolidate patient records from across institutions creating unique and non-duplicated patient medical histories. We are investigating the feasibility of automating duplicate record detection through the implementation of Java Mural Project, open source software which is the most comprehensive eMPI product available.
Through the ACT Network we provide access to the self-service query tools i2b2 and SHRINE, allowing you to conduct your own simple searches for aggregate patient data prior to starting a study.
