The goal of the Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences (CCTS) is to facilitate clinical and translational research at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, Rice University, and the Memorial Hermann Hospital System. The CCTS is one of the original 12 such centers funded by theNational Institutes of Health’s Clinical and Translational Science Awards(CTSAs). The CCTS is also a member of theTexas CTSA Consortium, which works together to improve translational research across the state.
