Rohini D. Samudralwar, MD, is an assistant professor with the multiple sclerosis research group in the Department of Neurology at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).
Dr. Samudralwar completed her internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine. While completing her residency, she held the position of chief resident, focusing on education. Her fellowship in neuroimmunology and neuroinfectious diseases was completed at Washington University in St. Louis, where she also completed a graduate certificate in clinical investigation.
Dr. Samudralwar has published articles and book chapters related to neurological infections and autoimmune diseases. She has an interest in the intersection between immunosuppressants and neurological infections, particularly in multiple sclerosis. She also has an interest in global health in neurology, utilizing her background in neuroinfectious diseases.
