Nurse Practitioner

Kathryn “Katie” Lidard,MSN, APRNis a board-certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. Katie was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland. She attended college at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After five years of working as a registered nurse in the Emergency Department and ICU, she returned to school to obtain her Master of Science in Nursing from University of South Carolina. She started her Nurse Practitioner (NP) career as a Trauma NP. She relocated to Houston, TX where she began working with the Department of Otorhinolaryngology. Her primary patient population is head and neck surgery patients, including endocrine surgery, head and neck cancer, and difficult airways. She is a member of the Society of Head and Neck Nursing.
