Programming Services

学术科技Programming Services specializes in:

• developing Web applications that are engineered to be HIPAA/FERPA compliant
• integrating with cloud/external hosted services.

We work closely with various groups at UTHealth to ensure that our applications comply with policy and follow best practices for:

• security
• identity/access management
• accessibility
• usability
• disaster recovery
• business continuity

The Programming Services Team provides support for the mission and goals of UTHealth by:

• Developing applications that facilitate education, research, and business processes
• Providing mentoring for programming staff for departments that do not have a technical manager
• Technical advising for Request for Proposal (RFP) evaluation teams
• Reviewing candidates for programming positions
• Administering shared programming resources such as source control, database and application servers
• Modeling use of central services, such as Identity Management, IT Security, and Web Communications
