Bronchoscopic Lung Volume Reduction for COPD: A case based discussion

Dr. Kyle Hogarth is an expert in bronchoscopy. He is the Founder and Former president of the Society for Advanced Bronchoscopy. He is passionate about bronchoscopic interventions in COPD and is involved in the clinical trials of different interventions for advanced COPD. He has been involved in the research and utilization of Bronchial Thermoplasty for Asthma and has authored numerous papers on the topic. He is a pioneer in utilizing and helping to develop the Auris monarch system and the Lung Vision system by BodyVision.

Objectives:

2) Discuss the available BLVR interventions to treat severe COPD patients
3) Discuss challenging cases encountered with use of BLVR
4) After care of severe COPD patients after receiving BLVR
