C. Frank Webber, MD, was named dean by Health Science Center President Roger Bulger following Dr. Ernst Knobil’s resignation.
Webber joined the Medical School in 1974 as clinical associate professor of family medicine and was chair of theDepartment of Family Practice and Community Medicine从1975年到1984年和社区事务助理院长1982 - 84年。他还曾担任卫生事务副总裁和高级执行助理Health Science Center。他曾担任纪念医院系统医学教育主任十年。
He received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
