The docufilm series takes viewers on a journey they can relate to. We talk to leading health experts and researchers from around the country who explain and identify what can and is being done. But mostly we show the health problems firsthand in the everyday lives of African American families telling their stories. We meet and introduce everyday extraordinary individuals throughout the nation who are valued health experts too -- people taking positive action to heal their lives, their families and their communities.
