Mandi Marie Lyons has worked in nursing education since 2014. Her previous nursing experience includes working with women throughout their lifespan ranging from postpartum bedside nursing (RN) to working with women in the surrounding community of Houston, TX as a women’s health nurse practitioner (WHNP). Her current research interest includes use of simulation in nursing education, patient education, breastfeeding and empowering women to manage their health effectively.
