我在德克萨斯州医疗中心及周边地区担任护士已有22年了。I received my BSN from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1997. I spent 5 years in the emergency department before obtaining my MSN as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Emergency Nursing in 2005. From there, I obtained a post-master’s certificate in Nursing Leadership in 2007 from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. I completed my PhD in 2013 from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. I am currently a full-time student at University of Houston where I am earning a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Professional Leadership in Health Science Education. I am looking forward to graduation in 2022!
My clinical experience and expertise is focused on emergency nursing, nursing leadership, research, and nursing education. My passion is teaching and leading students and nurses.
I live in Magnolia, TX (50 miles outside of Houston) with my husband and 3 children. My husband is a chiropractor and has had a practice in The Woodlands, TX for 22 years. Our lives are busy, but it is fun and exciting to be involved in everyone’s activities. I like to exercise and scrapbook in my spare time, which is mostly on the weekends. I am excited for this opportunity to get to know you and I hope you enjoy this experience as well!
