(July 30, 2019) – Chukwudi “Chudi” Ekwemalor, PhD, MBA, RN, an assistant professor of clinical nursing in the Department of Undergraduate Studies, is lead author of a new article now available online:

The study participants – Nigerian immigrants living in Houston – associated their most negative experiences with the lack of adequate preparation prior to migration to the United States and the cultural differences between the two countries.

Co-author Ifeoma Ezeobele, PhD, RN, is a 1983 BSN alumna of Cizik School of Nursing and currently a hospital nurse manager at the UTHealth Harris County Psychiatric Center (HCPC).
